Whyte Corporate Affairs nominated 5 times for Public Affairs at the European Excellence Awards
Nomination as European “Agency of the Year” and for innovative customer service
Whyte Corporate Affairs garners the highest number of nominations for Public Affairs at the European Excellence Awards. Whyte Corporate Affairs has been nominated as the best Public Affairs-agency of Europe (“Agency of the Year”). In addition, the jury selected the work conducted for two of Whyte’s clients: pharma.be and the Belgian Association for Sustainable Palm Oil.
In nominating Whyte as Agency of the Year the jury recognises Whyte’s innovative “new school” approach. In just a few years, this approach has led to Whyte taking up a leading position on the market, conducting a successful client service and growing a diverse customer portfolio. The nomination is also an acknowledgement of Whyte’s active contribution to the continuous professionalization and to the social debate on public affairs in Belgium.
An integrated methodology to public affairs and corporate communication is at the heart of Whyte’s approach, which allows to respond optimally to the complex, rapidly evolving world in which we live, as illustrated by the other nominations:
The Whyte team was nominated no less than three times for the services it rendered to the Belgian Alliance for Sustainable Palmoil (BASP): in the categories “Issue Management”, “Food & Beverage” and “Sustainability & Environmental”. Palm Oil is the subject of debate, from the perspectives of both health and sustainability. It’s for that reason that various companies and federations have formed an alliance to tackle this complex issue across the different fields. Through intense management of stakeholders among political, environmental and civil society organisations, support was gained to use only sustainable palm oil in Belgium by 2020. This was coupled with targeted communications campaigns offline, online, in audio-visual format and on social media.
Whyte was also nominated in the “Online Video” category, together with graphic design agency, The barbarians, and copywriting agency, Personal Copy. Using whiteboard animation, the In the land of pharma, Belgium is King video was developed for pharma.be to highlight the macro-economic link between the pharmaceutical industry and Belgium. Belgian achievements and discoveries in the pharmaceutical industry are connected in a positive way with a touch of humour to general Belgian facts. This nomination rewards Whyte’s cross-fertilisation of creative communication and public affairs, even more explicitly when it comes to efforts made with visualisation and digitalisation. The award ceremony of the European Excellence Awards Public Affairs takes place in Brussels on Thursday June 1st.
